Short description
After playing as a youth and taking his first steps in professional football at Molde FK, Leo Østigård moved to Brighton & Hove Albion in 2018. The centre-back was initially unable to establish himself with the Seagulls and spent time on loan at FC St. Pauli, Coventry City, Stoke City and CFC Genoa. In 2022, the Norwegian left the English first division club permanently and joined SSC Napoli, with whom he celebrated the Serie A title in his debut season. After two years at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, Østigård moved to Stade Rennes in the summer of 2024. After six months, TSG Hoffenheim secured the Norwegian on loan.
