Kadeřábek: "We're disappointed"

Here's what the players and coaches said after the 0-0 draw with FCSB.

Oliver Baumann: "Overall the draw is not enough, hence why we're disappointed. We should've converted our possession into more goalscoring opportunities. We were solid defensively but also gave away two major chances. The pressure that we built up has to be our objective on a lasting basis. We're not yet in tune, you can see that. But that's also normal in the phase that we're in. We want to get even better."

Pavel Kadeřábek: "The point is not enough. We're disappointed. We knew that this game was very important. It won't be easier at home to Tottenham and away in Anderlecht. In the second half in particular, it was actually a good performance from us, we had a few good chances too. The positive thing is that we kept a clean sheet but we needed a victory today. Perhaps the last bit of sharpness was missing in the passes today, but Bucharest were solid in defence too."

Tom Bischof: "We wanted to pick up three points today. We had a lot of possession but the very clear scoring chances were lacking and we did not offer enough in the final third. And we did not succeed in finding spaces behind the lines. Our play was too slow today. The passes were too slow and did not have the desired quality. We still have two matches ahead of us, it's all still to play for."

Christian Ilzer: "It's a result we're not satisfied with. We clearly set out to win at home. There's a reason why the opposition have kept four clean sheets and have 11 points on the board. It was not to be expected that we would create an abundance of scoring chances. We managed to put Bucharest under pressure too seldomly. Jacob Bruun Larsen had two good chances, Anton Stach and Max Moerstedt had one. Our position has not improved, but we still have two matches and will give everything."

Elias Charalambous (FCSB coach): "I want to congratulate my players. I am very proud of them. The whole of Romania can be proud of this team. The lads executed the plan brilliantly and were very focused for 90 minutes. We had two clear chances to score and could have even won the game. Hoffenheim didn't have such good opportunities. We kept a clean sheet. And we did that against a team that plays at the top level in the Bundesliga."
