Kramarić: "A rollercoaster of emotions"
Oliver Baumann: "It was a crazy game. Today was all about the ups and downs. We're still competing and we showed our spirit. For the goal to make it 3-3, Robin Hack sent the ball towards goal unexpectedly and I couldn't claw it off the line. I also could have done better with the first goal, so the fact they scored three goals is on me. But the team saved me today. We dropped back a little too much in the closing stages, but I'm glad we were still able to get the win. It was a great performance from us. After the fourth goal I was just relieved and happy to have won. The three points mean we're still a force to be reckoned with in the final stretch of the season. We have to keep at it, but also look after ourselves."
Grischa Prömel: „We threw so much into this, even in the first half, but we conceded goals too easily. It feels like Gladbach only had three shots on goal and scored each time. We have to put more energy into defending our own goal. We have to work on that. We knew we needed the win to stay in contention. But we have to keep working. We have to take a calmer approach to the game, we simply can't concede equalisers after being 3-1 up. We're happy that we managed to come away with a 4-3 win in the end."
Andrej Kramarić: ''The game was a rollercoaster of emotions and very nerve-wracking. It was great for the fans. Winning 4-3 in the last minute is an incredible feeling. We deserved to win, even though it was slightly fortunate in the end. We were by far the better of the two sides until the final ten minutes. The last four games will be hard, but we'll give everything we've got. I'm happy to have spent the last eight years playing in Hoffenheim. 250 Bundesliga appearances is a big number. I wouldn't have expected that when I moved to the club. Many thanks to the people in charge and the fans. I hope there will be many more."
Pellegrino Matarazzo: "It was a great game. All in all, we played good football. We were variable with the ball and had good counter-pressing. It was a good performance. After taking the lead, we let Gladbach back into the game. We'll work on improving this passivity in our post-match analysis. It was very exciting for everyone watching and in the end, I think we deserved to win."
Gerardo Seoane (Borussia Mönchengladbach coach): "We're obviously very annoyed not to go home with a point. It would have been a great result for us after the first half. Things improved in the second half, but we still conceded two goals. The substitutes brought new impetus. It's a shame that we threw away the point."
