DFB-Pokal elimination: TSG lose in Wolfsburg

Last stop Wolfsburg: TSG Hoffenheim have suffered a 3-0 (0-0) defeat away to VfL Wolfsburg and been eliminated from the DFB-Pokal. Following a goalless first half, Wolfsburg put themselves on the path to the quarter-final by scoring twice in quick succession: Denis Vavro opened the scoring via an indirect free-kick (63), before Jonas Wind doubled the lead shortly afterwards (67). It was too much for TSG to recover from and Yannick Gerhardt netted to make it 3-0 in the closing stages (85).
