Match highlights
The opener for St. Pauli
The visitors take their first opportunity and make it 1-0. Irvine plays a cross from the right into the penalty area and Afolayan volleys into the net with a shot that was not easy to convert.
Almost the equaliser
TSG almost hit back immediately: Bischof plays a free-kick from a deep central position in front of goal and Stach shoots but is denied by Vasilj.
Guilavogui strikes the upright
St. Pauli counter down the right, Afolayan then passes to Guilavogui in the middle. The striker is probably decisively impeded by Gendrey and his shot thunders against the woodwork.
Bischof tests Vasilj
Following a cross the ball lands in the path of Bischof, who manages to bring it down and takes a shot. The ball flies towards the corner, but Vasilj dives across to that corner and prevents the equaliser.
The decisive goal
Bischof misplaces a pass and St. Pauli launch a 3v1 counter-attack. Irvine then sets up Albers, who keeps ice cool in front of Baumann.
