DFB-Pokal: TSG to visit Lübeck on a Monday
The German Football Association (DFB) has announced the scheduling for the first round of the DFB-Pokal. TSG Hoffenheim will be away to VfB Lübeck on Monday 14 August. Kick-off at Stadion an der Lohmühle will be at 18:00 CET.
The first competitive match of the season has been scheduled: TSG Hoffenheim will visit VfB Lübeck in the opening round of the DFB-Pokal on (Monday) 14 August. Kick-off will be at 18:00 CET. Sky will broadcast the game away to the third-tier promoted club live.
It will be the second meeting between the two teams in the DFB-Pokal, having previously faced off in the quarter-finals of the competition in February 2004. Then second-tier VfB Lübeck won 1-0 away to Regionalliga Hoffenheim that day. Revenge after almost 20 years will be the aim in mid-August.
