Cesar Thier says "Ola Brasil!" on TSG.TV

TSG Hoffenheim's Portuguese-speaking social media community has been growing for years. Especially in Brazil, where "Hoffe" still have a lot of supporters keeping tabs on the Blue & Whites – despite the departure of Roberto Firmino and Joelinton. For those loyal fans, there will now be a special service. From now on, TSG.TV will be releasing a weekly video update in Portuguese called: "Ola Brasil – With Cesar".

Cesar Thier, a Brazilian former professional footballer and now a member of the coaching staff on our men's team, will be providing information about our team and our upcoming opponents in his mother tongue in the run-up to each matchday.

The 54-year-old began his football career in Recife with Santa Cruz. He played for Kickers Offenbach as a shot-stopper in the Bundesliga 2 and joined TSG as goalkeeping coach in 2008.

"We will release these videos on our digital channels in a way that is geared towards the target group, which includes Brazil, Portugal and other countries with Portuguese-speaking fans," said Holger Kliem, head of the media department. "We always get positive feedback from these countries and we want to do this to give something back."
