Away to Augsburg on a Saturday, Union on a Sunday

First game on a Saturday: TSG Hoffenheim will start their 2021/22 Bundesliga campaign away to FC Augsburg at 15:30 CET on (Saturday) 14 August. The first home game at the PreZero Arena against Union Berlin comes the following weekend, at 15:30 CET on Sunday 22 August. Head coach Sebastian Hoeness and his players are then in action on a Friday night (27 August, 20:30 CET) when they travel to Borussia Dortmund on Matchday 3.

The games at home to 1. FSV Mainz 05 (11 September), away to Arminia Bielefeld (18 September) and at home to VfL Wolfsburg (25 September) will all take place at the traditional Bundesliga kick-off time of 15:30 CET on a Saturday.
