A Franconian double-header
TSG Hoffenheim will draw their Lake Tegernsee training camp to a close with two friendly matches on Saturday. At 13:00 CET, coach Sebastian Hoeness's side will face SpVgg Greuther Fürth, and then, at 17:00 CET, 1. FC Nuremberg will be their opponents. Both games are being held at FC Rottach-Egern's home ground.
SpVgg Greuther Fürth ended last season placed 9th in the Bundesliga 2. 1. FC Nuremberg, who were relegated from the Bundesliga a year ago, only managed to stay in the second tier via a dramatic relegation play-off encounter with FC Ingolstadt. A Fabian Schleusner goal deep into injury time meant the Franconians avoided the drop into the 3. Liga by the thinnest of margins.
