Decade records for Baumann and Salihovic
Oliver Baumann is not just TSG's No. 1 – but the Bundesliga's too. The 29-year-old made more German top-flight appearances than any other player between 1 January 2010 and 31 December 2019. With 316 matches played over the decade, the Hoffenheim shot-stopper sits ahead of Thomas Müller (314, FC Bayern), Robert Lewandowski (307, Bayern/Dortmund), Manuel Neuer (284, Bayern/Schalke 04) and Daniel Caligiuri (281, Schalke/Wolfsburg/Freiburg) in the ranking list published by "kicker" magazine. Baumann's appearances were spread across two clubs: 185 for TSG and 131 for SC Freiburg.
His team-mate Sebastian Rudy occupies 10th place in the ranking with 260 appearances. The Germany international played 211 games for TSG in the Bundesliga, as well as 25 times for FC Bayern and 21 for Schalke.
Another TSG man, Sejad Salihovic, topped the ranking for "converted penalties" over the past decade. The midfielder scored 25 times from the spot in total between 2010 and 2019, and occupies top position in the ranking ahead of Robert Lewandowski (24, FC Bayern/Dortmund) and Paul Verhaegh (18, Wolfsburg/Augsburg). In next place on the list, with 14 penalties converted apiece, are Vedad Ibisevic (Hoffenheim/Stuttgart/Hertha BSC) and Max Kruse (Bremen). They are followed by our all-time Bundesliga record goalscorer Andrej Kramarić in sixth place. The Croat scored 13 times from the spot last decade.
