TSG pick up point in Berlin

TSG Hoffenheim drew 3-3 away to Hertha BSC on Matchday 12. Kerem Demirbay, Andrej Kramaric and Ermin Bicakcic got the goals for the visitors, who twice squandered a two-goal lead as the hosts fought back to rescue a point in the capital.

Personnel matters

Julian Nagelsmann made one change to the starting line-up that beat FC Augsburg 2-1 last time out, with Kevin Akpoguma recalled to play alongside Kevin Vogt and Ermin Bicakcic in a back three. Oliver Baumann retained his place between the sticks.

Havard Nordtveit and Kerem Demirbay formed the central midfield partnership, while Nico Schulz and Pavel Kaderabek lined up in the wide berths and Joelinton, Andrej Kramaric and Adam Szalai again started as the attacking triumvirate.

Nagelsmann made his first personnel change on the 70-minute mark, with Ishak Belfodil replacing Adam Szalai. Goalscorer Kramaric made way for Leonardo Bittencourt nine minutes later; Reiss Nelson replaced Nordtveit in the latter stages once the score was 3-3.

Moment of the match

TSG's second goal: Oliver Baumann played a perfect long ball into the path of Andrej Kramaric, who thumped a shot into the net. It was the first time a keeper has claimed a Bundesliga assist since 2016.

Number of the game: 44

The game was only 44 seconds old when Kerem Demirbay fired TSG into the lead. It was the quickest goal Hoffenheim have netted in the Bundesliga this term.
