TSG visit Werder in DFB-Pokal second round
The sides faced off just over 24 hours ago on the opening weekend of the Bundesliga season, with Hoffenheim running out 1-0 winners thanks to a goal from Andrej Kramaric. The teams also met on the penultimate weekend of last season, with TSG claiming an impressive 5-3 victory on the road.
“It’s a challenging draw, there’s no denying that. Despite this, we have clear aims for the tournament this year and are determined to progress,” said Alexander Rosen, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim sporting director.
The tie will take place on either 24th or 25th October. Four games will kick off at 18:30 CET and another four at 20:30 CET on both days.
Exact scheduling and ticketing details will be published in due course.
