DFB Cup Round 1: TSG travel to Rot-Weiss Erfurt

Rot-Weiß Erfurt finished in 14^th place last season in the third tier of German football. Head coach Stefan Krämer’s team won the Thüringen Cup with a 1-0 win over Wacker Nordhausen.

Alexander Rosen, director of football at TSG, said on the draw, “This is a tough opponent but at the same time, it is a great draw. We have enough confidence and expect ourselves to get through this round and progress.”

First-round matches will take place between 11^th to 14^th August.
