Cameo appearance for Kramaric in Croatia win
TSG striker Andrej Kramaric helped the Croatian national team get off to a successful start at the 2016 European Championship in France, winning their opening group match against Turkey 1-0 thanks to Luka Modric's first-half goal.
Kramaric started the game from the bench and was brought on by national team manager Ante Cacic in the 87th minute, replacing former Dortmund and Wolfsburg player Ivan Perisic. It was Kramaric's first appearance at a major tournament.
Croatia's next game in Group D is on June 17th when they face the Czech Republic in Saint-Etienne, where Kramaric will go head-to-head with TSG teammate Pavel Kaderabek. The Czech Republic enter the tournament on Monday against holders Spain.
