Vincenzo Grifo joins Dynamo Dresden on loan

Alexander Rosen, director of football: “A loan spell until next summer makes sense for all involved. We want Vincenzo to gain more match experience in Dresden and take the next step in his development.” Grifo will return to Hoffenheim next summer.

There is also hope that Tobias Strobl has developed in a similar manner. The defensive midfielder was on loan at 1. FC Köln in the summer of 2012, developed himself there and returned for the start of this season.

Grifo, who has recently been called up to Italy's U20 team on numerous occasions, arrived in the summer of 2012 at Hoffenheim, making12 Bundesliga appearances. He also made 21 appearances for Hoffenheim's youth team, scoring nine goals.
