One more day until TSG host Kaiserslautern...

Both legs of the relegation play-off are completely sold out. The excitement in the Kraichgau continues to grow ahead of the meeting between TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and 1. FC Kaiserslautern. achtzehn99.de will keep you in the loop right up until kick-off so you won't miss a thing from the TSG camp.

Manager and players

The first player to arrive at training on Wednesday afternoon in Zuzenhausen was Igor de Camargo. He parked up at 12.30 CET and headed into the dressing room. Player after player followed him. The one-hour training session was completed behind closed doors at the training centre. In his press conference on Tuesday, Markus Gisdol explained: “We don't want to change any of our procedures from the past weeks ahead of the game.”

The DFB (German Football Association) also revealed today who will be in charge of Thursday's game in the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena: Referee Dr. Felix Brych. His assistants will be Mark Borsch and Stefan Lupp, with fourth official Peter Sippel.

The fans

On Wednesday morning, the TSG fans ensured that the players will have as much support as possible coming with them to Kaiserslautern on Monday, May 27th at 20.30 CET. More than 4,500 fans have got tickets for the second leg and will be in full voice in the Fritz-Walter-Stadion.

The club

There was some renovation work in the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena today in cooperation with the DFL (German Football League). The TSG marketing department are heavily involved in the process, which requires them to meet certain conditions set by the DFL for relegation play-off matches. There were also safety talks held today between security personnel, the police and TSG representatives. The hospitality department have also had their share of work to do in the stadium: the Business Club has been prepared for the big match, while the boxes and the business seats have been checked and the entire area has been inspected by the DFL.

The preparations continue in Zuzenhausen. The stadium magazine has been completed, but the name on the cover will not be revealed yet. If you're at Thursday's game, you can buy the magazine for just €0.50.

TSG and 1. FCK have also jointly called for fairness in both games, with the motto: “Fairness comes first. Fair play in the relegation play-off! On and off the pitch!”
