Pre-season friendlies in the pipeline

1899 Hoffenheim have lined up a friendly against English Premier League club AFC Sunderland. The pre-season schedule of 1899 Hoffenheim has almost been completely finalised.

The team will begin again on June 21st with some fitness tests. From June 23rd to 27th there will be a training camp in Baiersbronn, before a short training break from July 3rd to 9th. On July 10th the second phase of pre-season preparation will begin.

The first friendly will be at 18.00 on July 14th against FC Ober-Ramstadt, a regional team from Hesse. On July 17th at 16.00, Hoffenheim will play in a fundraising game against TSV Rosenberg, before a further game on July 20th at VfB Rauenberg at 18.00. From July 21st until August 1st there is a training camp in Leogang in Austria. There are then three friendlies planned when the team returns.

To begin with there will be a friendly against English Premiership side AFC Sunderland on August 8th at 15.00, The game at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena will be part of a family day held by the club. There will lots of attractions for young and old put on by 1899's sponsors. Tickets will go on sale for the game against Sunderland towards the end of the month.
