Welcome to the TSG fan advisory board
The aim of the fan advisory board of TSG Hoffenheim is to further strengthen the fan scene at TSG Hoffenheim and to give it the opportunity to grow closer together when it comes to topics that are relevant to the fans and to establish a critical discourse among the fans. The committee is to provide the fans of TSG Hoffenheim with a platform to get in touch with each other and to discuss relevant topics as equals, constructively and in a protected framework. Promoting the exchange between TSG Hoffenheim and its fans is another important goal of the fan advisory board.
Since October 2023, the fan advisory board has been in its third legislative term.
In the past term, the board largely devoted itself to strengthening the fan community and dealt with the topics of "regionality" and "identifying with TSG", and there were several meetings in which they exchanged ideas on this subject, two of which were working meetings without the management.
In these working meetings, the fan representatives worked out and further developed a "concept for strengthening the identity of the TSG" and on regionality. The results were subsequently submitted to management and discussed together. In addition, the fan advisory board formed two working groups – one for stadium shows and one for merchandise – in which fan representatives and employees of the club exchanged ideas with each other.
In the meantime, some things that were discussed within the fan advisory board or the resulting working groups have already been implemented. The biggest points here are the restructured area in front of the Fan House, which now makes it easier for TSG fans to approach the Fan House before and after games, as well as closer contact between the team and the fans. In addition, the discussions about the stadium show also produced ideas which went on to be implemented, such as the inclusion of the fans through predictions, the format "In or out" and other campaigns.
The TSG fan representatives, but also the management, represented by Dr. Jan Mayer, who has been chairman of the fan advisory board since his appointment to the management board, and Denni Strich, see the fan advisory board as an important instrument, as it constitutes a representative cross-section of the fans in the stadium. This allows different perspectives to be incorporated into the discussions and allows everyone to work together on goals and solutions.
