Germany to play in Sinsheim in October
The Germany national team will contest a fixture in Sinsheim for the fourth time. In October, the DFB side will play a World Cup qualifier at the PreZero Arena. The opponent that national team coach Julian Nagelsmann and his men will face will be either Israel or Luxembourg and will depend on the outcome of the quarter-finals of the UEFA Nations League against Italy (20 and 23 March). Should Germany prevail in those matches against the ‘Squadra Azzurra’, the DFB team would play against Luxembourg in Sinsheim on 10 October. In the event of a defeat against Italy, Israel would be the opponent at TSG Hoffenheim's home ground on 14 October.
This will be Germany's fourth international match in Sinsheim following the 2-1 victory against Uruguay (May 2011), the 2-1 win over Peru (September 2018) and the 2-0 triumph against Israel (March 2022). The Germany national team has won every game to date. The game in October will be the country's first competitive match at the PreZero Arena, with one of the previous fixtures a charity match and the other two friendlies.
Ticket information will follow in due course.
