“KinderHelden": TSG and SAP make children happy

In cooperation with SAP and the non-profit organisation “KinderHelden”, TSG Hoffenheim gave around 120 children, their families and mentors an unforgettable day at the Bundesliga match against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

A high-five with the players prior to the warm-up, a trip in the team bus to the TSG Hoffenheim training ground and a meeting with Grischa Prömel and mascot Hoffi – 21 December was an unforgettable experience for around 120 children from the Rhine-Neckar region.

In cooperation with main sponsor SAP and the charitable organisation "KinderHelden", TSG Hoffenheim had invited the boys and girls to the match. After a ride in the team bus from Mannheim to Zuzenhausen, the kids were greeted at the TSG training centre by Tim Jost (Managing Director of TSG Hoffenheim) and Catharina Riedl (Chief Business Officer of SAP Germany).

In Zuzenhausen, the youngsters took a look at TSG's footbonaut and were then visited by mascot Hoffi and Grischa Prömel, who is currently injured. But a major highlight was still to come: the group travelled together from Zuzenhausen to the PreZero Arena in Sinsheim and attended TSG Hoffenheim's Bundesliga match against Borussia Mönchengladbach. In keeping with the special day, the children were allowed to enter the stadium catacombs and high-five the players before they stepped out onto the pitch. The crowning glory for all 120 children – an unforgettable experience.
