No points in Frankfurt: TSG lose to Eintracht
Personnel matters
Head coach Pellegrino Matarazzo made one change to his line-up compared to the win against Holstein Kiel, with Dennis Geiger starting in place of the injured Florian Grillitsch.
The scenario
TSG had started off the season with a victory, beating promoted outfit Holstein Kiel 3-2. Frankfurt had lost 2-0 to Borussia Dortmund.
Moment of the match
TSG had only just managed to pull a goal back through Andrej Kramarić (54) when Omar Marmoush scored in the 56th minute and quickly put to bed TSG's resurgent hopes of turning the game around.
Number of the game: 9
Andrej Kramarić was involved in a goal for the ninth Bundesliga game in a row, further extending the club record in the process. He has scored 11 goals and set up an additional five in those nine matches.
Debuts of the day
Florian Micheler, Robin Hranáč and Haris Tabaković all made their Bundesliga debut for TSG Hoffenheim today.
Outlook
TSG have now signed off for the international break. Pellegrino Matarazzo's team will next be in action against champions and cup winners Bayer 04 Leverkusen in two weeks. Kick-off at the PreZero Arena is at 15:30 CEST on (Saturday) 14 September.

TSG push up and are then hit perfectly on the counter. Marmoush plays in Ekitike, who then dances past Baumann and slots home from close range.
Marmoush misses chance for next goal
Frankfurt almost score again. Marmoush shoots from around 25 metres and the ball grazes the side-netting.
Larsson adds to lead
That was unfortunately too easy. Marmoush passes into the middle to Ekitike who finds the advancing Larsson, who beats Baumann in a one-on-one.
TSG cut deficit
A goal back! Hlozek passes the ball sharply into the middle towards Kramaric, who is unmarked at the back post and slots home.
Marmoush scores
SGE hit back promptly. TSG initially succeed in robbing Larsson of the ball in the box, but Götze shows lightning-quick reactions and plays to the completely unmarked Marmoush, who makes it 3-1.
