The first friendly of the season

It has almost become a tradition: TSG Hoffenheim will play their first friendly match of pre-season away to FC-Astoria Walldorf for the third straight year. After 2022 and 2023, TSG will again be the visitors to Dietmar-Hopp-Sportpark in 2024. Coach Pellegrino Matarazzo's team face Walldorf on Saturday (13 July) at 17:00 CEST. After an arduous first week of training, the first highlight of preseason awaits.

FC-Astoria Walldorf, who finished 14th in the Regionalliga Südwest last season, are already deep into their own preparations. The neighbouring club's season starts on the last weekend in July, three weeks before TSG's.

TSG Hoffenheim will play their next friendly match on 24 July, when they host second-tier side SV Elversberg in Zuzenhausen.
