Maximilian Beier

From the second tier to the Germany team: Maximilian Beier has had an unbelievable season. After a loan spell with Hannover 96, the top talent hit the ground running, played in 33 Bundesliga games, scored 16 goals and made his debut for the senior national team on Monday.

Oliver Baumann

TSG's captain, veteran and record appearance-maker. The goalie could be counted on yet again this season. The shot-stopper, who turned 34 on 2 June, did not miss a Bundesliga game and provided a safe pair of hands as per usual for TSG, for whom he has now made 366 competitive appearances.
