The older ones among you may remember it: it's been eight years since TSG Hoffenheim last won in Frankfurt. On 9 April 2016, the visitors from Hoffenheim ran out 2-0 winners over Eintracht. Since then, TSG have gone seven games without a win by the banks of the Main river, losing four games and drawing three. Against no other Bundesliga team have Hoffenheim waited longer for an away win.

Eintracht have only lost one of their last 21 Bundesliga matches at home (a 2-1 defeat to Stuttgart). Aside from this, they have won eleven and drawn nine.

…that it's been a long time since TSG last kept a clean sheet?

Oliver Baumann has conceded at least once in 19 consecutive Bundesliga matches. A new club record would be set if TSG fail to keep a clean sheet in each of their next five games.

…that this is a meeting of neighbours?

The two clubs are not just separated geographically by just under 125 kilometres, they are also next to each other in the standings. Frankfurt are currently one place and four points above TSG in the league table.
