Grillitsch: "We're very disappointed"
Oliver Baumann: "There was more in it today. We had a spell in the second half in which we were really good and had three chances, two of which were probably gilt-edged. I thought it was really good. The three conceded goals is too many. But Bayern have four players up top and then it's bloody difficult. We were slightly too passive from the corner, that was very frustrating. We've had a positive first half of the season, it's been really decent. We can build on that."
Maximilian Beier: "I had two chances today: Manuel Neuer saved the first header and I made a real hash of the second one. I should've scored that. That would've been the equaliser, then it would've all been open. I didn't catch the ball properly, I still had a lot of time. But then there's Manuel Neuer in goal. We were well in it in the second half. The start to the year obviously hurts, but there are still enough games; everything is still open."
Florian Grillitsch: "We're very disappointed today. We went in behind at the break because we conceded an unnecessary goal following a shortly taken corner. After the interval, we should've scored at least one goal. If you don't score a goal from chances like that in Munich, it gets tough; in fact, it'll be tough against any opponent. After the sending-off and it went to 2-0, it was of course difficult. We had a lot of counter-attacks and didn't give much away. We can build on that."
Thomas Tuchel (FC Bayern Munich coach): "We had such a good week of training with spirit and drive, but we are not yet carrying over this desire, joy and hunger into our matches. The game was no piece of cake. Manuel Neuer kept us in the match when we let it completely slip from our grasp at one stage. Then Jamal Musiala, who was our best player today, made it 2-0."
