Eight TSG players honoured by "kicker"

It is an institution. "kicker" has been publishing the so-called "German Football Ranking List" since 1956. Twice a year the specialist magazine evaluates the performances of players in each position, classifies the best footballers into the three categories of World Class, International Class and National Class, and places them in a ranking. TSG have achieved a strong result: eight TSG Hoffenheim players have made it onto the list of the league's outstanding players in the first half of the 2023/24 season.

TSG goalkeeper Oliver Baumann was even nominated for the "International Class" category by the expert jury and was ranked third among the best keepers in the league behind Gregor Kobel and Manuel Neuer. The other awards were equally remarkable: Kevin Vogt (15th, central defence), Pavel Kadeřábek (7th, full back), Anton Stach (8th) and Florian Grillitsch (11th, both defensive midfield), Andrej Kramarić (5th, attacking midfield) as well as Maximilian Beier (8th) and Wout Weghorst (12th, both forward) all made it into the "National Class" category.
