Max Moerstedt to train with first team from January

U17 World Cup winner Max Moerstedt will train with the TSG Hoffenheim Bundesliga team from January. The Mannheim native, who has registered 10 goals in nine appearances in the U19 Bundesliga, has already taken part in training sessions with Pellegrino Matarazzo and his team on several occasions and will train with the first team from the turn of the year.  "It's fantastic for Germany and all the players who were able to experience this success; I'm very happy for Max, he's a good kid whom we already had on our radar before the World Cup and who trained with us. He made a really good impression back then. All doors are open for him  but he has to take this path himself. He can showcase himself again and will start the winter preparations with the first team then we'll see. I'm looking forward to accompanying him on his journey," said Matarazzo of the talented 17-year-old striker, who scored four goals at the U17 World Cup in Indonesia and also converted his spot-kick in the final shootout against France.

Kadeřábek makes Team of the Round

Pavel Kadeřábek has been rewarded for his performance in the 2-1 defeat in Mönchengladbach by specialist magazine kicker and included in the Team of the Round. The Czech not only set the tone offensively with his dynamism down the right flank, but also made an outstanding intervention when he slid in as Florian Neuhaus prepared to shoot to prevent a goal. Congratulations, Pavel!
