Ozan Kabak: "We must fully hold our own in Berlin"

Will it be a fourth successive win this season? TSG Hoffenheim will be away to 1. FC Union Berlin on Saturday (15:30 CET / Live Ticker at tsg-hoffenheim.de). Prior to the match with the Champions League participant, central defender Ozan Kabak spoke about the recent successes and the next opponent.

Ozan, the first four matchdays are complete. How satisfied are you with your start to the season?

"We've started the season very well and have won our last three games in a row after the defeat to SC Freiburg in the opening match. We're of course very happy about that. But we also know that we can perform even better. We want to show that on Saturday already."

Where exactly do you still see room for improvement?

"We've let in too many goals and haven't yet kept a clean sheet, meaning we've not yet gone without conceding this season. We've worked on that not only this week but also beforehand in training. We want to be even more compact and absolutely want to have another game where we don't concede any goals."

What kind of game are you expecting on Saturday?

"Union fight very intensively on the pitch. We must fully hold our own. It's not going to be easy, but we also want to play a physical game. That actually suits my style of play. I'm looking forward to it and hope that we can get three points in Köpenick – and extend our winning run in the process."
