Four Saturday games to start season
TSG Hoffenheim will start the new season in Mönchengladbach on Saturday 6 August. TSG will play against the Foals in the classic kick-off slot of 15:30 CET. It will be André Breitenreiter's first Bundesliga match in the TSG dugout.
The first home game of the season will also take place on a Saturday afternoon, with TSG set to welcome VfL Bochum to the PreZero Arena on 13 August. As is also the case for the subsequent games against Bayer 04 Leverkusen (20 August), FC Augsburg (27 August) and 1. FSV Mainz 05 (10 September), the kick-off is at 15:30 CET on a Saturday.
But two of TSG's opening seven matches will not take place on a Saturday. Andrej Kramarić & Co. will kick off Matchday 5 of the campaign with an away trip to Borussia Dortmund. That game against BVB is scheduled for 20:30 CET on Friday 2 September. And the Baden derby against SC Freiburg will bring the curtain down on Matchday 7. TSG will host their local rivals at 19:30 CET on Sunday 18 September.
