The only global club

With help, heart and soul from Hoffenheim, a club was founded in Germany in 2011 where winning or losing is not the main focal point: Global United FC boasts a number of stars as its ambassadors – thanks to journeyman goalkeeper Lutz Pfannenstiel, who spent a long time working for TSG as a scout and was responsible for international relations.

In keeping with the motto "We love football. We love our planet", Global United FC has set itself the objective of using football to increase global awareness for environmental protection. Since it was founded, the club has gained over 500 well-known supporters who have helped to organise regular charity matches and fundraising events in locations that are highly symbolic when it comes to climate protection. The best-known event by Global United in Africa is the annually held Climate Kick in Namibia.
