Seven Saturday games at the turn of the year
Second half-season to start on a Saturday: TSG Hoffenheim will open the second half of their 2021/22 Bundesliga campaign against FC Augsburg on Saturday 8 January (15:30 CET). The final match of the first half-season against Borussia Mönchengladbach kicks off on a Saturday (18 December) at 15:30 CET too. The matches at home to Eintracht Frankfurt (4 December), away to SC Freiburg (11 December), away to 1. FC Union Berlin (15 January), at home to Borussia Dortmund (22 January) and away to 1. FSV Mainz 05 (5 February) are also at the traditional Bundesliga kick-off time of 15:30 CET on a Saturday.
Only the game away to Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Matchday 16) is set to take place on another day of the week. TSG will be in Leverkusen on a Wednesday evening (15 December at 20:30 CET).
