A few hours after TSG Hoffenheim's home game against VfB Stuttgart (Saturday at 15:30 CET), Alexander Rosen will appear as a guest on ZDF's "Aktuelles Sportstudio" programme. The TSG Hoffenheim director of football will chat with presenter Jochen Breyer about the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on Bundesliga clubs, as well as TSG's season so far. The programme will start at 23:00 CET.

Wednesday

Second digital fan club meeting with Sebastian Hoeness

On Wednesday evening, it was that time again: despite the intensive preparations for the derby against VfB Stuttgart (Saturday, 15:30 CET) and the immense burden of the many players who will miss the match due to Coronavirus, TSG head coach Sebastian Hoeness took the time to participate in the digital fan meeting with numerous representatives from fan clubs. Five weeks ago, Hoeness had already exchanged views with TSG supporters, and now he again answered the questions of the 30 fans from around 20 fan clubs. Of course, the focus was on questions regarding the Coronavirus pandemic, which had recently seen seven TSG players, a physio and a member of the coaching staff required to self-isolate, forcing the squad to take a week-long break from training.

At the request of the fans, the manager also gave exclusive insights into the preparations for the match and the procedures his team carry out before a match, from the match day press conference to the analysis and detailed discussions regarding the opponents. "The exchange with our fans is very important to me, especially in times when we can't see each other in the stadium," said Sebastian Hoeness after the meeting. "I'm always interested in their feedback, so a virtual meeting is a nice alternative."

Finally, there were some training tips for amateur footballers: "It's about being creative. If you are at home, you should use the things you find there: resistance bands or simple weights. Amateur athletes should also take advantage of virtual opportunities such as laptops to train together to maintain fitness and team spirit," Hoeness recommended.

At the end of the meeting, the fans gave the coach one clear mission: win the derby!

In addition to head coach Sebastian Hoeness, press officer Holger Kliem, Carsten Lindwurm (head of Fan Relations) and Lukas Zülch (fan representative) attended the meeting on behalf of TSG. The TSG Hoffenheim fan clubs were delighted with the important discussions with the coach and thanked TSG's fan representatives for the successful organisation of the digital fan club meeting.
