Nadiem Amiri tore the lateral collateral ligament in his left ankle in the 1-0 defeat to Werder Bremen. The 22-year-old midfielder sustained the injury, which was not caused by an opponent, in first-half stoppage time and will now miss the final game of the season away to FSV Mainz 05. TSG Hoffenheim wishes Nadiem all the best and a speedy recovery.

Belfodil nominated for Player of the Month
Ishak Belfodil has been on fire since the winter break, notching 11 goals and four assists. The Algerian striker's best form in the past few months surely came in April, when he scored four goals and assisted another two across four matches. Thanks to those consistently strong performances, the 27-year-old has now been nominated for the EA SPORTS Bundesliga Player of the Month for April. Votes are cast by the captains of the 18 clubs and fans. The voting will kick off on Wednesday 8 May at 12:00 CET and will end on Sunday 12 May at 23:59 CET. Kaderabek makes Team of the Round
There was good news at the start of the week for Pavel Kaderabek, who scored the opening goal in Saturday's 2-2 draw in Mönchengladbach. The Hoffenheim full-back was rewarded for his performance with a place in the Sportschau Team of the Round.
