Nordtveit joins Fulham on loan
"Fulham submitted an attractive proposal to us on Wednesday. Following intensive and positive talks with the player, we made the joint decision to go for it, because from a sporting perspective too it completely makes sense," said TSG Hoffenheim director of football Alexander Rosen. "Howie is a top guy and an experienced player, who has not been able to play with the consistency that he is capable of this season due to the number of injuries he has sustained." The Norway international is currently suffering from inflammation around his shin bone – an injury he suffered during the winter break.
Nordtveit joined the Kraichgau outfit in the summer of 2017 from Fulham's cross-city rivals West Ham United. He has since made 23 Bundesliga appearances for the club, with whom he has a contract until the summer of 2022.
