Akpoguma to go out on loan to Hannover
TSG Hoffenheim have approved a loan deal which will see defensive player Kevin Akpoguma join fellow Bundesliga outfit Hannover 96 until the end of the current season. The 23 year old central defender is contractually bound to the Kraichgau side until 30 June 2021. Akpoguma made a total of 10 appearances for TSG this season, eight of them coming in the Bundesliga with the other two in the Champions League. Akpoguma will undergo his medical in the new year.
''We've spoken to Kevin and both parties have decided that what's best for his development at the moment is to be playing as many top-level games as possible. After discussions with the management of Hannover 96, we all came to the conclusion that there is a clear opportunity for him there and we consequently decided to go through with the loan deal,'' said TSG director of football Alexander Rosen.
