Preparation for new season to officially start on 1st July

The wait is almost over. On Monday 2nd July at 10:00 CEST, the first training session of the preseason will take place in Zuzuenhausen. One day before, the first team will also take part in an internal fitness test.

The 2018/19 season is getting ever closer and on Monday 2nd July, Julian Nagelsmann’s side will get their preparations underway. Hoffenheim fans can look forward to seeing Oliver Baumann, Kevin Vogt and Co. in the flesh, as the session will be open to the public. New arrivals Leonardo Bittencourt, Ishak Belfodil, Joshua Brenet and Vincenzo Grifo will also be taking part. “I’m really excited to get going again. We’re all really motivated to get started with this historic season at TSG Hoffenheim,” says head coach Julian Nagelsmann.

The TSG preseason plan in full:

1st July: Training begins (internal fitness test)

2nd July: First public training session (10:00 CEST in Zuzuenhausen)

8th-13th July: Training camp in Garmisch

13th July (17:00 CEST in Pöcking): Hoffenheim vs. SpVgg Unterhaching

21st July (17:00 CEST in Eppingen): Hoffenheim vs. Queens Park Ranger

28th July (17:00 CEST in Bruchsal): Hoffenheim vs. SC Heerenveen

29th-5th August: Training camp in Windischgarten

4th August (17:00 CEST in Wels): Hoffenheim vs. Chievo Verona

11th August: Friendly against SD Eibar in the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena
