Alexander Rosen on Kevin Volland's omission from Germany's World Cup squad

“All of us at the club had our fingers crossed for Kevin and would have been delighted for him if he had travelled to Brazil. You have to accept the decision of the national team manager as he is also convinced that Kevin more than deserved a place in the initial squad on the basis of his performances in recent months.
