Internationals update – Victory for Vestergaard, defeat for Elyounoussi
Elyounoussi's team were the visitors in Denmark. The meeting in Herning ended in a 2-1 victory for the hosts, with the winning goal coming in the last minute. The Hoffenheim forward was in Norway's starting XI, but was brought off around the hour mark.
Vestergaard was part of the Denmark U21 setup in their quest for a place at the 2015 European U21 Championship in the Czech Republic. Bulgaria was the destination for Vestergaard, who was able to celebrate a 3-2 victory with his team, meaning the Scandinavians are now in top spot in their group ahead of Russia. The Hoffenheim defender played the entire 90 minutes, even scoring the equaliser to make it 2-2 after a free kick from Bayern's Hà¸jbjerg in the 53rd minute.
Germany U19s complete another comeback
As part of a training camp in France, the Germany U19s faced the hosts for the second time on Saturday afternoon. The team, including Hoffenheim players Kevin Akpoguma and Benjamin Trümner, almost repeated their comeback from the 4-3 win on Wednesday, this time, however, only coming from behind to draw 2-2.
