Tobias Weis is back
He was sprinting, demanding the ball and encouraging his teammates as though he'd never been away. On Wednesday morning Tobias Weis trained for the first time since suffering knee ligament damage on August 4th. After his run-out at the training ground today, he said it felt great to be back in action.
“We'll break him into training, and the team, slowly. He has been out for a while, so that way he can really find his feet again”, said manager Holger Stanislawksi of his youngest signing. “Of course it depends how his knee reacts to being exercised again. But we're delighted he's back”, Stani added. Although he isn't yet fit to be named in a competitive squad, fans and players alike will be thrilled at seeing Weis back playing.
