A scan yesterday confirmed the extent of the injury, meaning Obasi now faces a three-week lay-off. Manager Holger Stanisölawski will have to do without him for league games against 1. FC Nürnberg and Hertha Berlin, as well as the German Cup match at home to FC Augsburg on December 20th.
