DFL release official 2011/2012 Bundesliga schedule

The German Football Association (DFL) have released the official schedule for the 2011/12 Bundesliga season. First up for 1899 Hoffenheim, a trip to European hopefuls Hannover 96, who will be looking to pick up where the left off last season. The Sinsheim side will then host reigning champions Borussia Dortmund the following weekend, but will have to wait until Matchday 8 to take on FC Bayern München. The highlights of the season may well come on Matchday 9 and 26 when they face local rivals VfB Stuttgart in the Baden-Württemberg derby, but Hoffenheim will want to continue a trend having finished above them in the table last season. The exact dates for all the fixtures and when you can buy the tickets are not yet known, but will be announced closer to the time.
