Beck announced as new Hoffenheim captain
The secret has been lifted: Andreas Beck will be the new captain of 1899 Hoffenheim.
The 23-year-old was skipper for the first time during Saturday's 4-0 victory in the DFB Cup first round encounter with Hansa Rostock. "I'm happy about having been given this responsibility. But my priority remains to work for the success of the club and nothing else," said Beck.
