The test phase is over and things are now getting up and running: the City Store on Bismarckplatz in Heidelberg will celebrate its grand opening on Thursday. After opening its doors on Tuesdays and Fridays at the end of January, the pavilion in Heidelberg city centre will now commence regular operations.

But first, there will first be a wide-ranging entertainment programme at the store on Bismarckplatz from 16:00 to 20:00 CEST on Thursday. A DJ will provide the music, and food and drink will also be available in the form of a cocktail bar and a food truck in front of the pavilion. A selection of players from TSG Hoffenheim, Rhein-Neckar Löwen, MLP Academics Heidelberg and athletes from the Heidelberg Olympic Training Centre will be signing autographs. Lord Mayor Eckart Würzner will also give a welcome speech.

The City Store is a joint venture involving TSG Hoffenheim, the Rhein-Neckar Löwen, MLP Academics Heidelberg and the Olympic Training Centre in Heidelberg. Fans will be able to buy merchandise from their favourite clubs in the pavilion on Bismarckplatz. Various events will also be held at the store – such as the recent double interview with Anton Stach and Juri Knorr.

From Friday (4 April), the City Store will be open from 11:00 to 19:00 CEST on Mondays and Tuesdays and from 10:00 to 14:00 CEST on Saturdays.
