Join the #DemokraTeam and vote on 23 February

TSG Hoffenheim stand for social cohesion and once again the club positions itself against discrimination, racism, homophobia and any tendencies that contribute to division and are an affront to common social decency and values. TSG are therefore calling on people to exercise their right to vote on 23 February and take part in the 2025 Bundestag election.

Tom Bischof, for example, who is taking part in a federal election for the first time: "Of course I'm going to vote, as it's both a privilege and a duty for me. That's the only way democracy works," says the 19-year-old.

Football serves as a living example. Our sport offers millions of people in Germany an emotional home, cohesion and exemplifies fundamental values. Football in Germany fights against racism and marginalisation and stands up for a culture of remembrance, most recently again on Holocaust Remembrance Day with the "Never again" campaign. Above all, sport should always set an example. Respect and fairness; democracy cannot function without these principles. It is all the more important in these current times to note that democracy is not a matter of course, it must be lived by everyone in the population.

That is why it is important to vote on 23 February 2025. For a democratic future in Germany.
