Fan information for the game in Bochum

The Hoffenheim fan representatives have compiled all the information you need to prepare for TSG Hoffenheim's Bundesliga match away to VfL Bochum (Saturday, 15:30 CET/live ticker on tsg-hoffenheim.de).

Directions and parking

By train:

Attention: Between 28 February and the end of April, train services in Bochum will be considerably restricted. The line between Essen and Dortmund will be closed and neither long-distance trains nor regional trains will stop in Bochum during this period. Only the S-Bahn will run between Dortmund and Essen during the day. All regional trains will be diverted via Herne. From Herne, Bochum main station can be reached with the U35 line.

BY CAR:

Address: Stadionring 26, 44791 Bochum

Coming from the A40 motorway, take the Stadion exit and turn left directly at the exit into the ‘Stadionring’ multi-storey car park, which is available for away parking. The parking fee for cars is €4. Payment must be made in cash at the car park entrance.

Buses and nine-seaters:

Only coaches and nine-seaters can park in the car park next to the multi-storey car park. The charge for this is €10. Payment is made in cash at the car park entrance.

Car parks for people with disabilities

The disabled car park is located on P-Medien. Access is via Küppersstraße, between the RuhrCongress and the Rundsporthalle. A blue parking permit is sufficient for authorisation. Please have this ready at the entrance. The security service will then direct you to the disabled car park.

Fan paraphernalia

  • The following materials are permitted in the away block at the Bochum match:
  • max. five large waving flags (flagpoles may have a maximum length of 4.50m)
  • Flags up to a pole length of 1.50m.
  • Fence flags (up to a maximum height of 1.10m/max. length up to 4.50m). The opening of the escape gates and the advertising boards may not be covered.

The following are not permitted

  • Double banners
  • Block flags

Please note: All orange-coloured escape doors must not be overhung under any circumstances and escape stairs must remain clear.

Stadium opening:

The stadium opens two hours before kick-off (13:30 CET).

Blocks/away entrance:

Blocks E1 to E2 are available for away fans. The standing areas are in block E1, the seats in E2. Print@Home tickets must be printed out.

Barrier-free entrance

Wheelchair users please use the entrance at the marathon gate. This is located at block N. There is a disabled toilet at the marathon gate.

Catering:

Payment can be made by EC card, credit card, ApplePay/Google Pay and cash.

Drinking limit:

Persons who are recognisably intoxicated or reach a calculated value of over 1.6 per mille after measurement may be denied entry to the stadium.

Bags and rucksacks:

Bags up to a size of DIN A4 can be taken into the stadium. There is no drop-off point for bags larger than A4 size. It may therefore be advisable for fans travelling by train to hire a locker at the main station.

Photo and video cameras:

Compact cameras are allowed in the stadium, while professional equipment such as cameras with interchangeable lenses are not permitted.

Miscellaneous:

Glass is prohibited in the stadium and in the immediate vicinity of the stadium.
