TSG prematurely bring Erencan Yardimci back to Hoffenheim
"Erencan has developed well at Sturm Graz over the course of recent months, so we believe that he can help our team enormously in the future with his speed, his strong heading ability and his goalscoring prowess. For this reason, we have come to the conclusion to prematurely end his loan spell in Graz and bring him back to Hoffenheim immediately," said Andreas Schicker, the Managing Director of Sport at TSG Hoffenheim.
Erencan Yardimci moved from Turkish top-flight club Eyüpspor to Hoffenheim in the summer of 2024 and immediately sent on a year-long loan to reigning Austrian double winners Sturm Graz. The Turkiye U21 international made a total of 14 competitive appearances in the Bundesliga, the Austrian Cup and the Champions League (three goals and two assists) for Sturm Graz during that six-month spell.
Yardimci made his debut for the Turkiye U21 national team against Georgia on 27 September 2022 (1-0 win) and has since made 13 international appearances for his home country's youth team, scoring six goals in the process.
