Philipp: "The draw can give us courage"
Adam Hložek: "We would have deserved even more than a point today. I'm very tired, but also very happy that we got another point. We want to carry on like this. It was a really crazy game. We did very well and were very dominant. That's exactly how we want to play. I was very emotional after my goal. We've been making too many mistakes in our game, today things worked better. We kept a very compact shape."
Tom Bischof: "I think we were the better team today. But Frankfurt really have huge quality up front. We had good energy for 90 minutes. There would have been no complaints had we won today. In any case, our running data is good, it's always been good, but it's got a bit better. We've often lacked a little bit of luck in games, but this time we had it at the end. We press hard up front and sometimes leave our centre backs stranded. We have to manage to always defend as a group. The ball that Andrej played to Adam for the goal in stoppage time was outstanding."
Luca Philipp: "We didn't let our heads drop. We deserved the point, we created a lot of chances. I found out on Friday morning that Oli Baumann was injured. Then I had two training sessions full of anticipation. The tension was released after the warm-up. I enjoyed every second, it was pure joy. I'm positively off my head, everything I do is for football and I've been playing for this club for 12 years. I couldn't do anything about the two goals we conceded, but I kept us in the game later with the two saves. The draw is deserved and can give us a lot of courage. We put them under a lot of pressure going forward, but we defended laxly once or twice at the back."
Christian Ilzer: "It was a great game of football overall, with a well-deserved point for us in the end. The team showed morale. There were a lot of situations in the game that didn't go in our favour: A shot against the woodwork, an unfortunate but correct penalty call against us. We put in a lot of effort to equalise, but unfortunately we failed to take the lead when Andrej hit the post and immediately afterwards we found ourselves 2-1 down. Luca Philipp kept us in the game with a super save and in the end we were rewarded with a deserved equaliser. We've already had some good performances here in which we weren't at all rewarded in terms of the result. That's why I'm very happy that we got a point, not just for the table, but also for morale. It reinforces the path we're on."
Dino Toppmöller (Eintracht Frankfurt coach): "We didn't have a good game today. We didn't bring our energy and footballing quality onto the pitch. Of course it's annoying that we conceded the equaliser shortly before the end. Hoffenheim deserved the point, of course we would have liked to win, but we'll take the point."
