Geiger: "Everyone knows what's at stake"
Dennis, how did you spend the Christmas holidays? Were you able to relax a little?
"The family took centre stage during the days off. We had a really good time and were all able to relax a bit. Of course, the break wasn't that long due to the early Bundesliga start, but I was still able to switch off."
Preparations have been underway again for a few days now. What is your impression after the first week of training?
"Very positive. There's a lot of momentum in training. Everyone knows what is at stake and what situation we are in. Some have already experienced a similar situation at TSG. We're all ready for the upcoming games."
What makes you confident that things will pick up again in the coming months?
"We've now had more time to prepare. You could already see the effect in the last game of the year against Gladbach, when we had an entire week of training to prepare. If everyone knows and is aware of what's at stake, things will definitely improve."
What are your personal goals for 2025?
"For me, it really comes down to staying healthy. That always sounds like a cliché, but it's genuinely the case for me. And when I'm healthy and fit, I want to help the team and be successful with TSG."
