TSG eSPORTS join the Bandenkick Esport-League
TSG eSPORTS have been successfully involved in eFootball for more than four years and have continuously expanded their work with young talent since then. By entering the Bandenkick eSPORT League (BEL 3), our club is now setting another example for the promotion of young talent and offering youngsters a platform to develop further. In the BEL 3, Ruslan ‘Ruslan7’ Ismailov and Mohamed ‘Momo_jt06’ Jaatit compete one-on-one with numerous other top prospects from Germany to gain match practice at competition level.
"The Bandenkick League is a very good platform for young talents," says our eSPORTS coach Jonas “bit0911” Bederke about TSG eSPORTS’ involvement in the BEL 3. "The tournament mode provides a clear framework and a goal for the players to work towards. The league is also very well organised and structured."
Next match on Monday against Jahn Regensburg
Things are also going very well in sporting terms so far: after four games, TSG Hoffenheim eAcademy have four wins to their name and are in first place with 12 points, ahead of VfB Stuttgart eAcademy (six games/15 points) and Team Vertex (four/12). So far, ‘Ruslan7’ and ‘Momo_jt06’ have faced Eintracht Frankfurt (4-0, 1-0) and Alemannia Aachen Black eSports (4-2, 5-2). The next match for TSG eSPORTS will be against SSV Jahn Regensburg next Monday (16 December).
"I have a very good team-mate by my side, we complement each other really well," said “Ruslan7” about working with team-mate “Momo_jt06”. "We get on really well, support each other and try to get the best out of each other." On his time at the TSG eAcademy so far, which ‘Ruslan7’ has been a part of since October 2024, he says: "The support at TSG eSPORTS is going very well. I'm constantly trying to improve myself and my game. Thanks to the professional support and the dialogue with the team, I notice that I'm making progress and growing into a more experienced player - and you can see that in the results."
‘Ruslan7’ and ‘Momo_jt06’ also impress at the VBL Open by WOW
‘Ruslan7’ and ‘Momo_jt06’ are not only delivering strong results in the BEL 3, but also in the Virtual Bundesliga (VBL) Open by WOW. Both have already achieved 60 out of a possible 60 wins in the qualifying month of November and can therefore hope to take part in the VBL Open playoffs - an official announcement of the qualified players is still pending. "I received a very, very warm welcome from the whole team at TSG eSPORTS. There is a close connection and good chemistry between the main team and the eAkademie. It's very warm and informal here. I would like to thank the whole team for that," says “Ruslan7”.
