Hložek fires Czechia to promotion

Another TSG player had cause for celebration at the end of the international window: Adam Hložek helped the Czechia national team to 2-1 victory against Georgia and secure promotion to Nations League Group A as a result. The TSG player scored himself from a direct free-kick (24) and thus played a decisive role in the victory that sealed promotion. The Czechs won their group courtesy of the 2-1 victory and will play in the top category in the next edition of the Nations League.

Oliver Baumann did not play a part in Germany's 1-1 draw with Hungary, nor did Lúkas Petersson in Iceland's 4-1 defeat at the hands of Wales. Tim Drexler made a substitute appearance in the Germany U20 national team's 2-0 win over Turkey.
